Asura Website

01 / Overview

Upon joining Asura, I was immediately tasked with transforming the company's existing website from a basic online presence into a dynamic showcase of our business's capabilities and services. This project not only enhanced Asura's digital footprint but also set a new standard for our online communications.

  • Frontend: Nuxt 2 framework, utilising Tailwind for responsive and modern styling

  • Design: I collaborated closely with our in-house designer to bring intricate parallax designs to life

  • Content: To manage the website's content flexibly and efficiently, we implemented the nuxt/content package, allowing for easy updates and maintenance

  • DevOps: The project was successfully deployed via Netlify, showcasing our commitment to leveraging cutting-edge development practices

  • Lighthouse: The website achieved a 100% score on Google Lighthouse, reflecting our dedication to excellence in user experience, performance, and accessibility

  • Commitment: Remarkably, this ambitious project was completed within the deadline and undertaken in my spare time, in addition to my primary backend development responsibilities at Asura

Asura's website was a basic online presence that didn't reflect the business's capabilities and services.

03 / Decisions

I used Nuxt with nuxt/content, which kept the site fast and easy to update while still supporting the in-house designer's parallax designs.

04 / Outcome

I delivered it on deadline, in my spare time alongside my backend role, and it scored 100 on Google Lighthouse.
