01 / Overview
Role: Frontend lead (backend built by a teammate)
Led frontend development of a custom reporting feature for a B2B SaaS analytics platform, letting users build and save configurable reports (filtering, column selection, saved report definitions) against the platform's core data - securities, issuers, notes, programmes, and more - without needing developer involvement for every new report shape. Built out the report-building UI, including advanced filtering, save and "save as new" functionality, and report types for additional entities (issuers) as the feature expanded, alongside bug fixes and end-to-end test coverage. The backend powering report generation was built by a teammate; this covers the frontend implementation.

02 / Problem
Every new report shape on the platform needed developer involvement, so users couldn't explore securities, issuers, notes and programmes in the ways they wanted.

Users can build, filter and save their own reports across securities, issuers, notes and more, with save-as-new for variations. The flow is covered by end-to-end tests. I led the frontend; a teammate built the backend.
