Client Portal

01 / Overview

The Client Portal stands as the cornerstone of Asurafin's digital interface, offering clients access to their data, valuations, documents, and personalised settings. This project exemplifies a harmonious blend of design, technology, and security, tailored to meet the sophisticated needs of Asurafin's clientele.

  • Frontend: Utilising Nuxt 2, Storybook, and Tailwind CSS to build a highly responsive and aesthetically pleasing platform

  • PWA: Embracing progressive web app (PWA) capabilities through the nuxt/pwa package, the portal delivers a seamless and app-like experience to users across all devices

  • Design: A critical part of this project involved translating intricate Figma designs into dynamic components and layouts, ensuring a cohesive user experience

  • Data: The portal features a wide array of data visualisation tools, including charts, graphs, geographic maps, and data tables, to present complex information in an accessible manner

  • Authentication: For secure access, Keycloak was implemented for robust authentication, safeguarding user data and privacy

  • DevOps: Deployment was expertly managed through Circle CI, facilitating a smooth transition to the Google Cloud Platform

02 / Problem

Asurafin's clients needed one secure place to access their portfolio data, valuations, documents and settings, with complex financial data presented in a way they could follow.

03 / Decisions

I built it as a PWA on the shared Storybook component library, so clients get an app-like experience on any device and the portal stays visually consistent with the rest of Asurafin's products.

04 / Outcome

I built the portal in Nuxt from detailed Figma designs, with charts, maps and data tables, Keycloak authentication and CircleCI deploys to Google Cloud.
